Kate Bonser

Kate is completing the final year of a Bachelor of International Studies (Indigenous Studies) and Law at the University of New South Wales. Throughout their degree, Kate has specialised in the area of comparative Indigenous Studies, including a period of study in the faculty of First Nations Studies at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver.

Prior to joining Chalk & Behrendt as a paralegal in 2019, Kate gained experience in several other Indigenous legal organisations including Nyamba Buru Yawuru (the Native Title Prescribed Body Corporate for the Yawuru people of Broome), the Aboriginal Legal Service and the Northern Australian Aboriginal Justice Agency (NAAJA) in Alice Springs.
